Here's a classic Erzgebirge Christmas ornament motif: lovely little angels sitting upon a sliver of a celestial moon. We have many just like this on our tree each year, though ours are from the 1970s. This contemporary version is handmade from turned and carved natural-finish woods and hand painted by artisans of the Christian Ulbricht Company in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains.
