Bigfoot Duck demonstrates the frequently seen use of artistic license in Rock Art. Image makers often over-emphasized a unique physical trait of their subjects. The Ancestral Puebloan artist who created this Petroglyph was obviously quite impressed with the large, webbed feet of ducks. Located at the junction of the Colorado River and Smith Fork Canyon, now 300 feet under Lake Powell in Utah.
