This is a pair of French clip earrings in an antique bronze finish and features a 1969 6c United States stamp called "Plant For More Beautiful Highways" from the beautification of America series. The Stamp depicts a highway surrounded by lush meadows.

These stamps publicized First Lady Ladybird Johnson’s personal program for the Beautification of America. Its goal was to encourage Americans to take pride in their country and plant flowers and trees.

The images were taken from real, used, vintage postage stamps to make an asymmetrical pair of earrings and may have post office cancellation marks.

Size of earring is 18mm and they are lead and nickel free.

Earrings are water resistant but not waterproof, I recommend removing before showering, bathing or swimming.
